Charged me $255 t for a check engine light diagnostic and their prices on everything was stupidly over inflated, didn’t realize how much I got ripped off till I took my car to two other mechanics who didn’t charge me a dime for a diagnostic and said the same thing they said was up with my car.
Hi Edson, Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. We always like to hear from our customers, even when the feedback is not positive because it helps us do a better job. For over 33 years, I’ve taken all customer reviews very seriously. I spoke to each of our team members who spoke with you and serviced your vehicle to get the details on your visit. Not only do we have very detailed internal processes and procedures in place to handle pulling codes and diagnosing the real cause of warning lights but we also subscribe to a professional automotive diagnostic software service that gives us a comprehensive picture of the true nature of a problem and what is needed to fix it. When many automotive repair shops pull codes for “free” you only get half of the story. In your case, when other shops pulled the code with their free software they won't know that there is a software update required after the repair and this means installing new software. Missing this critical detail could end up costing you much more than the price of a simple diagnostic. This is why we invest in professional diagnostic software and don’t rely on the free version. At the end of the day, we want our diagnosis to be right the first time every time and make sure that every vehicle leaves our shop in a safe and reliable condition. Our main concern is that you continue to have a safe and reliable vehicle and I’m open to speaking with you anytime if you’d like to discuss the matter further or ever need help in the future.
