There are a lot of car mechanics in the area, but when I really need work on my Subaru, I always go to Brian. What a great guy! Last week, I was stranded on the side of the road and Brian drove all the way to get me and the car. No better service.

I brought my car to Nerger's after I started hearing a weird noise while driving. As soon as I walked in, I knew it was different from any other shop I'd ever visited. Everyone I spoke to was really thorough, asking lots of questions, and it made me feel like they really cared about me and my car. I was about to order a Lyft to take me to work (about 17 miles away), but the staff insisted that someone would take me and it was no problem. I was floored. A few hours later, I received an inspection report via text, spoke to a mechanic on the phone, and we made a plan for fixing the problems. I never felt pressured or rushed into making a certain decision and my mechanic answered all my questions. Less than 36 hours from when I'd brought my car in, it was ready to go. A week later, I received both a follow-up call via phone and a thank you card in the mail (with a scratch-off ticket inside). As a woman, I'm often hypervigilant when taking my car in for service - on more than one occasion, it's felt like I'm being talked into unnecessary and expensive repairs because I don't know much about cars. I never felt that way at Nerger's. I'm a customer for life.

My experience here is nothing short of great. They work with you to make sure you leave satisfied. I cannot think of anywhere else that I'd bring my car too unless I move from the area. I wished they were open o the weekends but I understand. Overall, I always leave satisfied with my vehicle better than when I brought it in.

They were so friendly and funny and they do good service on your car. I live in Edison but I take the drive to go here cause they’re a place where they don’t make you feel like you NEED to fix something right away if you don’t need to. Brian’s father took me home and he’s really nice and loves to talk!
