Very expensive..rip off. Took advantage of the situation

I typically don't write reviews, but this completely erked me with owner Brian. I find there work to be impeccable, but God forbid if there is an issue with paying for repairs. So here is the background, got a care credit card based on the recommendation from Brian the card had over 700 dollars available but for whatever reason synchrony bank was holding funds that had already posted to my card but didn't want to release the hold. This has nothing to do with Nergers, but it also wasn't my fault, with myself and husband spending thousands of dollars at this spot never having issues paying for repairs you would think that Brian would be able to accommodate. I even left them my damn card to run once the hold was released. I'm not a person to get over nor not trying to pay for repairs. To even recommend my husband here and then have to be treated like we are some blow hard off the streets completely pissed me off. As a side note Evan and Brian's wife are amazing people to work with, unfortunately I will be taking my business elsewhere. Also Brian make sure you dont talk about your employees to freaking customers completely unprofessional. To Add he could have said give me half at least he would have partial payment until the damn bank cleared the hold, but this wasn't even an option. This is not how you hold on to good customers. Trust me I've posted a review on the damn bank as well.

AMAZING SERVICE! I've been to several auto shops thru the years and 99% of the time feel taken advantage of as a woman or talked down to. I wasn't expecting much difference until I called Nerger....off the back I could tell they were cut from a different cloth. When I finally made it into the office my instints were confirmed: They are extremely polite; tended to me like I was the most valued customer and called multiple times to keep me abreast of what they found/what they proposed. I never felt like they were trying to up-sell me, in fact they told me the least expensive/most effective ways. Simply put: NERGER IS THE BEST!! Ethan (clerk in main office), Brian (shop owner) and Jose (auto mechanic) provided amazing service...service that has convinced me my car will never go to another shop but theirs! (They gave me a Refer-A-Friend card: Friend gets money off their service; I get a pair of movie tickets....who does that?!...yes, I'm totally sold!)

Great Service and Repair! I had a disappointing time with another service provider and Nerger's Auto Care fixed my car quickly. I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to get there car fixed.

I was referred to Nerger's Auto Care to fix a leak in my transmission. I called to schedule and they were very accommodating and took my car immediately. What made it really work was their father was there to drive me back to my house when I dropped my car off. It was a pleasure talking with him on the way to my house. They diagnosed my car and called me to explain in detail what they discovered on my car and the work was completed that day. They seemed very honest and straightforward explaining the issues and the impacts. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a honest/personal repair shop that stands by their work. I will definitely use them again in the future

Great Service with a friendly helpful staff.

I ran over a truck's tread on the highway and it knocked a piece off that lead into my muffler I found Nerger's auto care in Boundbrook via internet and glad I did Brian was friendly and they had time to put car on lift to review issue. I was very relieved about the answer they gave me they replace the O ring and didn't charge me (just asked for a tip if i wanted to provide). I don't think i ever heard that from a auto repair shop we fixed the issue at no charge! I left happy but of course I left my jacket behind and they were kind enough to drive over to my office 10 mins away and drop it off. I'll definitely return for my oil changes and misc repair.

Brian Nerger and his crew are courteous, respectful and knowledgeable about automotive preventative maintenance and repairs. They know how to correctly diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair any issue. Truthfully, I am an automotive technician by trade and I can repair all of my vehicles myself. However, I work long hours and rather spend my time off with my family. Nerger's Auto Express provides me with a fair quote and gets the scope of work performed correctly so they will continue to receive work from the six vehicles that I own not to mention referrals from the over 1500 vehicles that my shop sees a month getting routine preventative maintenance who are in need of automotive repair. Brian, his wife (Michelle), his dad and the entire crew are honest, comptent, fair, great at what they do, and bestvof all they won't rip you off... These are characteristics that you can't buy at any price! Nerger's Auto Express is simply awesome PERIOD!

My gmc, I was about to literally trash because no Mechanic could honestly tell me what was wrong with under my truck. I was being told they cant properly diagnose my truck because theirs now enough sound to "figure" it out. Not Nergers though! Never have I ever had an auto shop make my experience less stressful. The only thing I was stressing about it not having a vehicle! I knew the staff prior to an issue I had 2 years ago another truck. (Just as great of an experience) they have a Fantastic team! They never turn people down. They offer a car service if you don't have a helping hand when your car is ready or if you need it to be thought there. I'm big on asking 101 questions and dealing with (Brian) the owner one on one was a great experience. Man has patience of a saint! Thank you nergers, thank you Brian!
